Our client, a leading media and entertainment agency, is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) Executive to join their team. 

Reporting to the HRBP Regional Lead, this role will be responsible for multiple business groups in NYC. They require someone with strong business acumen to translate business priorities into practical HR strategies for success.

  • Highly dynamic and ambiguous environment
  • Must have HRBP experience in Media, Branding, Advertising, and Entertainment.
  • Strong commercial awareness and operational excellence skills.
  • Onsite 4 days a week with preferred 5 - Midtown, NYC

As part of this role, you will oversee various day-to-day HR functions, encompassing employee onboarding, policy implementation, talent management/succession planning, inclusion and diversity initiatives, utilization of career development tools, and addressing employee relations matters.

We're seeking an individual with versatility, capable of effectively partnering with, coaching, and challenging senior business leaders. Possessing strong commercial awareness is vital for successfully navigating complex stakeholder relationships.

Moreover, you'll collaborate closely with the recruiting team to comprehend job requirements, conduct workforce forecasting, and identify talent. Additionally, you'll play a pivotal role in guiding the business through change initiatives, employing change management tools adeptly.

 

You must also have:

  • Minimum 10 years of true HRBP experience working in fast-paced and dynamic media or entertainment-related organizations.
  • Deep understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate challenging conversations and maintain the status quo.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Be flexible and adaptable - prepared to tackle detailed tasks when necessary.
