Our client is a leading F&B brand with a presence across 40 cities worldwide, with North America being a significant growth market. 

As they plan to expand their footprint in the region, they are looking for a Manager of HR Operations and Compensation to join as a key member of the HR team, driving programs that promote employee engagement and retention while implementing processes to maximize system efficiency.

  • New headcount and Strategic Role (North America, approximately 4000 employees)
  • Handling Workforce Planning, HRIS, and Compensation for both corporate and field employees
  • Strategic compensation professional with solid knowledge of HRIS and Analytics tools
  • Dynamic and fast-paced work environment
  • Based in Manhattan, NYC (Hybrid, three days in office and two days remote)

Reporting directly to the VP of Human Resources, this role plays a pivotal role in managing compensation programs for both corporate and hourly employees. They will contribute to designing and implementing the job architecture, internal salary benchmarking, and FLSA requirements, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with industry standards.

This person will also be responsible for all HR systems (HRIS), partnering to implement systems and processes to support all HR activities, including recruitment and onboarding, compensation and benefits, performance management, and compliance. They will ensure data integrity through entry and audit, as well as workforce planning and management.

The successful candidate must have a solid understanding of compensation design and total reward strategies, as well as the ability to effectively communicate complex compensation information to all stakeholders. They must also have administrator responsibilities for a comparable HRIS and a broad knowledge of HR practices and employment law, along with the capability to influence by building positive working relationships and partnerships.

 

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree; advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years of compensation and HRIS experience in a multi-state/multi-facility business supporting both exempt and non-exempt populations
  • Proficient in analytical skills and data interpretation for informed decision-making
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at various levels
  • Current knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements in compensation and benefits
  • Advanced Excel and MS Office skills
  • Strong knowledge of HRIS and data analytics tools
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Compensation Professional) are advantageous
  • 401(k) and NQDP administration is a plus

Compensation: $115,000-$125,000 base + Bonus + Benefits
