Executive Search (Retained)
Our executive search process involves a traditional “retained” approach to recruitment. This may be the best approach for your needs if you’re looking to work exclusively with a recruitment partner and require a thorough mapping of the market to identify candidates, a long list and short list and more detailed progress reports and candidate profiles.
When engaging Elliott Scott to perform a retained search the overall fee is invoiced in three stages: one third on commencement of the search, one third on presentation of a shortlist and the final third on the start date of the successful candidate.
Contingent Search (Contained)
As the recruitment market has evolved so have our client services. We identified the need to adapt our approach when working in countries and industries where traditional executive search methodologies were not well established and in situations where clients are looking for a more nimble approach to retained search. For these reasons we offer a contingent search approach, known as the “contained” method. Many of our clients prefer to engage us in a contained way due to the speed with which they can receive CV’s as there is no official shortlist stage. Contained search is a great solution for clients looking to hire senior HR professionals or those who have a niche role or a role in an obscure location.
When engaging Elliott Scott to perform a contained search the overall fee is invoiced in two stages: one third on commencement of the search and two thirds on the start date of the successful candidate.
Contingent recruitment underpins the majority of HR placements and is often the most cost effective solution for our clients, particularly for junior and mid-level placements and for roles that have a larger candidate pool.
When engaging Elliott Scott to manage contingent recruitment our fee is invoiced in one stage; with the full fee payable on the start date of the successful candidate.
Interim HR Solutions (Contractors and Temporary Staff)
Alongside our permanent recruitment business we also offer interim staffing solutions. It could be that you need someone to cover maternity leave or long term illness or that you have a project role for a defined period of time. In these situations we will discuss the nature of your assignment and advise you on whether we think it’s possible to source the right interim talent. Globally, contractor and temporary staff markets vary a great deal and in some countries it is much easier to find interim candidates than in others. If you require a third party to employ and payroll an interim HR professional, we are able to provide these services through a partnership with a third party provider who is an expert in this field.
