Global HR Data Privacy

Our client is a Global Leader in IT Integration and Cloud Technologies, looking to hire a Global HR Data Privacy Expert.

Location: London, UK (remote)

The Global HR Data Privacy Expert will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable data privacy laws and regulations across the organisation’s global HR function. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of privacy policies, procedures, and practices to protect employee date and ensure compliance with relevant data protection laws.

The role holder will work loosely with the global Head of Data Privacy,

• Develop and implement global HR data privacy policies and procedures in accordance with relevant data protection laws.
• Work with HR leaders and IT teams to ensure that employee data is collected, stored, and processed in compliance with applicable data privacy laws and regulations.
• Provide guidance and training to HR teams on data privacy matters and ensure all all HR staff are aware of their responsibilities for maintaining data privacy.
• Manage data privacy risk assessments and data protection impact assessments for Global HR processes and initiatives.
• Collaborate with global legal and compliance teams to provide guidance on the interpretation and implementation of data privacy laws and regulations.
• Monitor regulatory developments and industry trends in data privacy and provide recommendations on how to adapt policies and procedures accordingly.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for data privacy-related inquiries and incidents.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure that data privacy is considered in the development and implementation of new HR technologies.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Bachelor's or Master ’ s degree in Law, Human Resources, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data privacy, with a focus on HR data privacy.
• Strong understanding of global data privacy laws and regulations.
• Experience developing and implementing data privacy policies and procedures.
• Ability to effectively communicate complex data privacy concepts to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience of working in a global environment.
