Our client, a leading NGO focused on environmental sustainability, is looking to hire a Head of HR as part of their ambitious growth plans and to support their evolving organizational goals
Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership: Partner with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organization's goals. Build a high-impact culture and develop a top-tier HR function to support growth.
People & Culture Strategy: Lead strategic HR initiatives, design a federated HR model, and ensure effective communication across teams. Act as a trusted advisor on key people matters, such as DEI and workforce planning.
Performance Management: Implement and adapt the performance management framework, fostering goal-setting and coaching managers for success.
Talent Acquisition & Development: Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes. Identify skills gaps, promote continuous learning, and support succession planning.
HR Technology: Guide the implementation of HR technology to enhance systems, from recruitment to learning and development.
Policy & Compliance: Develop global HR policies and ensure compliance. Support local teams in creating policies suited to local laws.
Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion: Champion DEI initiatives, foster cross-cultural communication, and drive an inclusive workplace.
Reporting & Metrics: Track HR metrics, provide project updates, and raise concerns as needed.
Requirements
Proven HR leader with 15+ years at senior management/leadership level in international HR teams.
Expertise in HR best practices and broad generalist HR experience.
Skilled in managing global, multicultural, and agile environments, with team leadership experience.
Knowledge of HR legislation in multiple jurisdictions.
Proven success in driving organizational performance.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
Strategic thinker who aligns HR initiatives with organizational objectives.
Proficient in HR software and MS Office.
