The HR Business Partner (‘HRBP’) position is an integral part of the HR team and has primary HRBP responsibility across the European offices, working with local leaders and managers.
The is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated departments in our client’s European Offices. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the departments in the in the European Office’s current challenges, its plans, culture and where appropriate, the market competition.
The HRBP will work in full collaboration with and leverages technical expertise from the existing HR colleagues to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide full HRBP support across the European office locations whilst leverage technical expertise from HR colleagues where appropriate
- Develop and maintain strong, influential relations with leaders and managers in the Europe offices, partnering with leadership, providing guidance on business priorities, employee matters, HR policy and processes
- Bringing people expertise and developing solutions to help leaders deliver and achieve their plans and strategies
- Provides guidance and input on department restructures, workforce planning and succession planning
- Provide the day-to-day performance management guidance through coaching, career development and management of all employee relations matters (including disciplinaries and grievances), where appropriate working with internal colleagues in Legal, Compliance or other relevant teams
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
- Maintains knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing risks and ensuring compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required
- Identifies training needs for departments and individual executive coaching needs
- Work closely with global HR team to ensure consistency and sharing of best practice
- Collaborate with both HR and regional leaders on HR projects, including managing local HR projects. Co-ordinate local/global projects to ensure successful implementation
- Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies
- Sole ownership or some HR projects and / or responsible for the project management of HR work streams associated with business initiatives
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:

Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of HRBP experience
- Demonstrated extensive experience in a HRBP role, ideally regional covering Europe and Dubai
- In-depth working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines, including performance management, employee relations, immigration, strong understanding of employment laws and regulatory requirements
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated HRIS experience, ideally Workday
- Strong project management and operational experience
- Degree preferably in Human Resources or professional Human Resources accreditation
