Our client is an investment management firm known as a pioneer in quantitative investing and oversees approximately $60 billion in investment capital in hedge funds, private investments, and long-only focused strategies. They are seeking a talent research professional to find and engage impressive talent from historically underrepresented groups in finance and technology.

To meet the ongoing talent needs of the firm, you’ll create and execute strategies to identify and attract accomplished candidates who self-identify as members of one or more underrepresented groups.

You’ll work with colleagues on our Recruiting and Talent Research teams who cover the firm’s various business units to critically assess talent markets and build candidate pipelines representative of the total available market of talent within an industry sector. 

You’ll craft research plans to map a wide range of niche investment, technical, and other candidate populations, and thoughtfully engage prospective candidates to better understand their professional and academic experience, interests, and motivations. You’ll also develop key metrics and measure the impact of our broad diversity-focused recruitment efforts in a rigorous, data-driven way.

This role offers substantial scope for innovation and creativity in seeking out new ways to find and develop high-potential candidates.

In Addition You Must Have:

  • Candidates should have at least seven years of comparable experience, with at least four of them sourcing exceptional passive candidates in a search firm and/or in-house environment, including finding and engaging talent from underrepresented groups. Commensurate experience at a market insights firm or in a data-rich, research-intensive field is welcome. Experience in the finance or technology industries is preferred.
  • Individuals with the ability to balance thorough research with a creative approach to problem solving will excel in this role.
  • Critical thinkers with well-developed written and verbal communication, analytical, and organizational skills are highly sought-after.
  • We welcome individuals with varying degree levels (BA, BS, MA, MS, Ph.D.) from any field of study, as our firm has a long history of hiring applicants from the humanities and social sciences.
