Our Client, a successful global boutique Asset Management firm, are in the process of hiring a bright, switched-on APAC Payroll Manager. In joining this high performing Team you will be given full-rein to make a positive impact in how Payroll is effectively and efficiently handled across the Region.
Key Responsibilities:
• Payroll administration across the various group entities based in HK, Japan, Spore, India, China, USA, Australia
• Work with payroll vendors in international offices to ensure payroll processing is done timely and accurately considering local deductions, contributions, tax withholding etc
• Processing end-to-end HK office payroll and transiting to outsourced model in the near term
• Familiarity of Compensation and Benefits including understand job descriptions & facilitating compensation and benefits research to define benchmarks; Keep abreast with new trends and best practices across the geographies
• Tracking the Staff leverage program
• As part of the Group Reporting, Accounting and Budgeting: Provide journals for accounting monthly payroll to the outsourced service providers at international offices and ensure appropriate accounting of payroll
Key Experience:
• Minimum of 10 years payroll experience demonstrating increasing responsibilities throughout your career
• Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and C&B best practices, CPA qualification preferred
• Familiarity with payroll practices and regulatory requirement in relevant jurisdictions is a must
• Financial Services/Professional Services background, with prior experience in the Alternative Asset Manager space strongly preferred
• Effective communication skills and ability to positively influence stakeholders
• Commercial mind-set : outlook
