The Job:

Super opportunity to join this very successful global Professional Services firm as the ASEAN HR Lead.  Leading/working as part of a high-performance, progressive team you will provide strategic HR advice to the Regional Managing Partners, Country Partners and employees.  You will ensure Best Practice and a consistently high level of HR service including employee relations, process & procedures, policies and C&B.

 

Key Responsibilities Include: 

Include but not be limited to the following:

Business Partner

  • Provide strategic HR advice to the Managing Partner and Regional Partners and employees regarding employee relations, policies, best practice

  • Ensure global and regional People strategy is applied consistently and a high level of HR service is provided 

Recruitment and selection:

  • Work closely with recruiters and hiring Partner/Manager to ensure the right resources are in place 

  • Lead on all legal and business services recruitment 

  • Oversee preparation of employment contracts and make salary recommendation before an offer is made

Annual Evaluations

  • Work closely with the Regional Partners to ensure key deadlines for the office are met 

  • Provide assistance and advice to staff throughout the process

Annual Compensation Process

  • Assist with conducting salary survey and benchmarking

  • Work closely with the Managing Partner & Country Partners to ensure key deadlines for the office are met 

  • Provide clear guidance and advice on compensation and bonus proposals adhering to global and regional strategy

Benefits

  • Oversee the administration of gym benefits, annual leave, sick leave etc.

  • Ensure all office policies are update to date and posted on Connect

Other administration

  • Work closely with the HR Administrator to ensure HR data is always up to date, complete and accurate 

  • Work closely with Office Manager ensuring sufficient secretarial coverage at all times

Other ad hoc duties and projects as assigned

 

Skills/Experience:

  • Previous strategic and operational HR experience, professional services or exceptional client service oriented environment  

  • Ability to proactively  identify critical business issues and deal with or escalate appropriately  

  • A positive can-do attitude - delivering consistently to deadlines and reacting positively to changes and conflict

  • Willingness to be hands-on with day to day operational requirements

  • A solutions and client focused skillset

  • High level communication skills, including drafting written documents, proof reading documents and verbal communication skills demonstrating accuracy and reliability  

  • Comfortable with ambiguity

  • Team player with the ability to work cooperatively and flexibly with a varied team of people

  • Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity of information and use discretion when dealing with such matters
