Job Description

A junior role for those looking to start a career in recruitment to join the Hong Kong Commerce team. Comprehensive internal and external training and exposure to the full 360-degree recruitment process with an emphasis on candidate management initially, moving to full ownership of 360 processes for junior roles.  


Core Responsibilities:

  • Assisting and supporting the Commerce team with all aspects of the recruitment process including: 

    • Shadowing Consultants on client and candidate calls.

    • Writing job adverts.

    • Screening job applicants.

    • Creating long lists.

    • Assisting to create short-lists.

    • Writing candidate profiles for their ESG CV.

    • Scheduling candidate calls and interviews.

    • Seeking candidate feedback.

    • Candidate management and engagement.

  • Begin to develop your own personal brand in the market through regular social media activity and candidate meetings.

  • Attend and embrace training to become fully proficient with our core recruitment tools: Profile, LinkedIn Recruiter, O365.

  • Attend and embrace training to understand best practice 360 recruitment.

  • Active collaboration with your peers in other global locations for development and knowledge sharing.


Personal Specification:

  • Successful completion of an undergraduate degree/ higher education with the ability to articulate the transferable skills gained from this in relation to the role of Associate Consultant.

  • Personal desire and drive to embark on a career in recruitment, and an interest in HR

  • Commitment to participate and succeed in the Elliott Scott Group Associate Consultant 6-month development program.

  • Positive, can-do attitude.

  • A team player, driven to build strong and trusted relationships.

  • Self-aware and open to feedback.

  • Ability to use own initiative to solve problems and complete tasks.

  • Attention to detail and pride in work delivered.

  • Confidence to work under pressure and run with projects independently.

  • Open to fresh graduates.

  • Languages – Required: Cantonese and English, Desired: Mandarin.
