Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing end to end complex employee relations cases across all functions including but not limited to disciplinary, grievance, appeal cases, bullying, harassment, and discrimination complaints

  • Working collaboratively with the in-house employment legal team to deliver effective advice and guidance on individual cases

  • Engaging with managers promptly to address issues in a timely manner and assist in developing employee communications plans where appropriate

  • Partnering with Heads of HR, HRBPs and the in-house employment legal team as required, in the design and delivery of people related change activity such as reorganisation or transition of activities within the APAC region

  • In partnership with COI and the Group Employment Legal Services team, produce regular, accurate, meaningful, and actionable MI data on employee relations matters

  • Using data to observe any trends, consider root causes and appropriate actions to be taken

  • Collaborating with the Group Employment Legal Services team to input into creation, review and implementation of relevant standards and policies

  • Working with the Group Employment Legal Services team, Heads of HR and HRBPs to encourage consistency of approach, in terms of managing employee relations

  • Considering automation and efficiency where appropriate and/or necessary

  • Leverage centralised view to identify common themes/trends to drive enhancements in capability, identify training opportunities, coaching and support for people managers and HRBPs

  • Supporting and creating training material and delivery of information in partnership with other centres of expertise

  • Working with the Group Employment Legal Services team to review case management systems


Experience and Qualifications Required:

  • At least 7 years ER experience from a leading multinational firm – open to non-financial service candidates

  • Must be already based in Hong Kong
