Benefits Advisor - New York City
Our client is a global professional services giant and they are seeking an energetic and pro-active Benefits Advisor to act as their local Benefits SME and provide overall support to the Global Benefits Department.

In this role, you will use your knowledge of benefits programs to ensure employees are informed and on track with enrollment and plan changes (you will be the point-of-contact for any questions from employees), oversee accurate policy administration, and facilitate benefit programs as needed. Other responsibilities include vendor-operations management, reporting on observed trends for process improvement (local and global), data/audit services, compliance management of benefits, and interfacing with payroll.
The ideal candidate will have experience in HR operations, benefits planning, and administration. You must have a strong working knowledge in health & welfare and voluntary benefit plans, vendor management, benefits reporting and project management. This role requires extremely strong communication skills, analytical/numerical skills and attention to detail.
In addition you must have:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2-4 years of Employee Benefits experience
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
- Previous experience with HRIS
