Job Description

This is a newly created Campus Recruiter / HR Generalist role for a global multi-national financial firm in Sydney. The role will report to the Director of People, Australia – with Campus Recruiting responsibilities reporting through the APAC Campus Recruiting Lead.

 

HR Generalist Duties & Responsibilities:

As this firm continues to expand in Sydney, they require additional local resources to support the Campus Recruiting and People agenda in the office. This Campus Recruiter / HR Generalist will split time between Campus Recruiting, People workflows, and Engagement initiatives.

Roles / Responsibilities:

  • Campus Recruiting

    • Point of contact for ANZ universities and societies; responsible for design and implementation of campus strategy

    • Event planning and coordination for on-campus marketing events; attending business representation for all on-campus events

    • Manage online presence - job boards, grad resources – for Sydney-based positions

    • Direct sourcing and relationship management of candidates; in partnership with APAC Campus Lead, manage the candidate pipeline and recruitment process

    • Concierge for in-office activities: interviews, campus networking events

    • Design, lead and drive the execution of the Sydney internship program

 

  • People Team

    • Assist with the onboarding process of Sydney new hires

    • Coordination and execution of New Hire Orientation

    • Program Execution

    • Coordinate and execute local training & development initiatives

    • Employee Relations

    • Ad hoc; assist with note taking, case management and coordination of employee investigations and separations

    • Employee Engagement

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors’ degree or equivalent experience, advanced degree(s) a plus

  • 5+ years of campus recruiting knowledge within the finance industry

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including: Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • ATS/CTS experience including tracking and managing candidates

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced team environment

  • Ability to develop clearly defined plans of action including deliverables, milestones and  a formal tracking process

  • Excellent analytical skills, with strong attention to detail and exceptional follow-through

  • Highly organized and detail oriented with exceptional follow-through

  • Team player, self-starter

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills

  • Experience in the Financial Services industry is essential
