Our client is an expanding consumer services organisation who are looking for a Chief HR Officer to report direct to the CEO.

This is a new role within the organisation and in order to continue their significant growth they now need someone to come in and lead their global people strategy. The organisation have the bulk of their people in Europe, however this is going to evolve over time and their current 8 locations will only continue to grow. There is a basic HR framework that is currently in play, however the leadership team are looking to be more strategic with their outlook and start to build up a true company culture and philosophy that truly runs through the brand. Ultimately this is a strategic HR role that needs someone who is capable of handling the demands of a growing business and combining them with the here and now that people problems ultimately bring.
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate experience from an expanding business, who can provide context and a story while setting up HR to truly excel alongside the business. While this is a consumer led organisation they utilise technology to be successful and therefore we are ideally looking for someone who has come from a high growth tech background. The role is based in Berlin with extensive travel and we will consider applications from people that possess the required experience and who are open to relocation to Berlin. Alongside this we are also looking for:
- Team management expertise.
- The ability to evolve an HR function to the needs of a new business.
- Experience across multiple industry sectors.
