Job Description

The role as the Client Director will be to plan & implement sales to major accounts of high strategic importance where cultivating relationships, identifying opportunities and account management skills are critical. The Client Director is seen as being a unique authority in specific area of work and is visible and influential across the business, demonstrating a deep knowledge base of areas including Strategy Execution, Organization Design, Talent Strategy & Work Design, Assessment and Succession, Executive search & recruitment, Leadership development and Rewards & benefits.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and expand long term relationships for the purpose of generating renewal and yield/cross-sell business opportunities

  • Identify opportunities, including leveraging existing contacts and generating leads in complex buying situations

  • Liaising closely with Regional and Local Account Managers and developing relevant networks of Senior Stakeholders

  • Prepare complex proposals and solutions that require creativity, entrepreneurialism and specialist knowledge

  • Execute a marketing plan for a particular product, service or specialty area whileworking within established marketing systems

  • Actively support pursuits and RFP requests with ownership of HR services in proposals and participate in Client pitches promoting and advancing the HR value proposition with clients

  • Track and update client information and opportunities in customer relationship management systems

  • Regularly engage with discussions covering pre-sale activity levels, new results, future meetings, pipeline, approaches to being successful, and technical/account management support needed to assist sales

  • Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts

  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity

  • Comply with contracting and account administration processes to ensure that contractual, legal and invoicing requirements are met, and high levels of efficiency maintained.

 

 

Skills/Experience:

  • Will typically have around 10 years’ experience in Account Management, New Business Development including working with major/complex accounts, Consultative Sales of HR/Human Capital Management Solutions

  • Essential: Strong functional experience in Talent Management, Talent Assessments within a Human Resources capacity

  • Demonstrates strong learning orientation and intellectual curiosity

  • Looks for ways to help their teams be successful

  • Serves as a technical resource to others within area of expertise

  • Known for producing high quality, timely work that meets or exceeds client expections
