Job Description

Our Client, who supports virtually every leading global financial services firm, including hedge funds, funds of hedge funds, private equity firms, investment management organizations, are looking to hire an experienced Compensation Consulting Director, to join this highly productive team of industry experts.

This exciting opportunity is part of the Asset Management team – to service and manage the client portfolio across both Singapore and Hong Kong, through creating rewarding and successful workplaces by ensuring their employees are paid the right amount, and in the right way, to drive the right performance. To be highly effective in this role, you will leveraging the firms market leading data, insights and solutions to help clients optimise their total reward programmes.

The four pillars of this role includes:

  • Relationship Management: Serve on client team as a relationship manager. Field client questions and deliver client solutions. At the Director level, the role requires the delivery and facilitation of client presentations and demonstration of technical expertise and understanding

  • Product Manager: Manage a segment of the core compensation benchmarking program, ensuring data accuracy and quality as well as product development and new client solicitation.

  • Analysis: Leading a team of analysts to support the production and preparation of superior analytics and market insights including the ability to quality assure work and present findings

  • Consulting Projects: Prepare and present consulting reports and analyses geared toward presenting insights to clients on their strategic objectives. Research existing and emerging trends in client businesses and present those insights to clients. At the Director level, the role will also require the consultant to identify business opportunities and originate consulting projects.

Requirements:

  • At least 8 - 10 years’ experience in Human Resources, Reward/Compensation or a relevant financial services field.

  • Prior consultancy experience (either to internal and external clients) and ability to manage stakeholders

  • An interest in the financial services industry and work experience in the sector will be highly regarded.

  • Native Cantonese and/or Mandarin language skills (priority as a speaker) as the role will closely work with our clients across Asian markets
