This organisation completed one of the biggest global acquisitions in 2020 creating a regional headcount in excess of 10 000 across 15+ countries. Following a period of harmonisation, they are now looking to appoint a Lead in Diversity & Inclusion to make the global agenda more relevant and meaningful for the APAC region. In this greenfield role, you will take the core of global agenda items and interpret them for each geography under your remit being mindful of cultural norms. You will also evaluate what may be more relevant in some countries and devise and implement D&I trainings or programs for the local population.
Key agenda items are:
- Gender diversity
- Mental health and wellbeing
- LGBTQI+ agenda
- Unconscious bias
Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate pioneering experience; how they have conceptualised and delivered relevant DEI strategy into their current or recent organisations and the net benefit to the organisation. You will understand regional nuances and be able to navigate cultural differences. You will have strong influencing skills and be able to engage senior stakeholders to become advocates of your DEI agenda.
