Job Description

A leading financial services company who is currently enjoy a period of continued growth is looking for an articulate and ambitious HR professional to join its team in a senior project focused HR change management position.

In this role you will work closely with the Head of HR and the leaders of the HR functions on various projects within HR.  While this is an individual contributor position you will draw on resources from around the wider HR family and will manage small teams on a project basis. Although the topics could be very varied initially you will be focused on talent, engagement and culture projects, and in all likelihood projects that will tackle some of the effects of the current Covid crisis.  The ultimate goal is to develop the HR function and team members and make them future ready to drive the organisation forward over the next decade.  Writing papers and delivering presentations are a given in this position, with the outcomes being critical to the overall success of the HR team. 

 

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of twelve years’ experience in human resources with exposure to various specialist teams within the function. You should have a consultative mind-set with the ability and gravitas to face off to the most seasoned of business leaders.  As such you should have outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to navigate large, multi-layered financial institutions.  While previous financial services experiences is not a must, previous experience in HR Consulting would be an asset given the additional requirements of being highly logical with excellent analytical and diagnostic skills.    

 

Additionally you will possess the following -

University educated with a degree in Human Resources or other business related degree 

Ability to articulate and debate the latest HR models, policies and practices

Exceptional project management skills
