Director of Talent Acquisition – New York City

 

A mission-driven Consumer Goods organization is seeking a Director of Talent Acquisition to revamp their US recruitment strategy and scale best practices for high growth. This person will be a key member of the HR Leadership team and support the development of a dynamic team of recruiters.

In this role you will develop and execute regional recruitment strategies to attract top talent and support the growth of the business. We are looking for someone who has ample experience building teams, maintaining robust, diverse pipelines, guiding and motivating TA professionals, and designing top notch candidate recruitment and onboarding processes. You will leverage data and insights to partner with stakeholders and prove your understanding of the business and its needs; expect to revise and manage workflow efficiency, third-party vendors and recruiting systems, build branding strategy, and collaborate with other functional leaders of the business.

 

The ideal candidate will also be self-directed, results-focused, and have strong project management skills. We are looking for a leader who is able to communicate strategic vision in addition to ensuring the maintenance of operational excellence. You must be passionate about leveraging technology, creating a positive and collaborative culture, coaching and development, and most importantly, people! This role requires excellent communication skills and the confidence to work directly with C-level executives and directors. Additionally, previous experience with technology-driven organizations and strong TA plan design/team management experience is required. 

 

In Addition You Must Have:

  • Minimum of 8 years’ Talent Acquisition/HR experience
  • At least 4 years’ experience managing and developing a TA team
  • Previous experience managing a large recruiting budget ($1M+)
  • Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
  • High EQ (emotional intelligence) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with confidence and lead in times of ambiguity
  • A Bachelor’s degree
