Based in Hong Kong, our client is looking for a Diversity & Inclusion Manager to join the team focusing on the Asia region.

Reporting to the Head of HR for Asia, you will cover Diversity & Inclusion for the Asia region. Your role will include identifying opportunities for strategic intervention to foster diversity with a key priority being multiculturalism. You should develop a deep understanding of the firm’s diversity and inclusion strategy, be the subject matter expert for the firm globally but with particular focus on Asia, work closely with senior leaders (Head of HR, Managing Partners, Global D&I Group and local D&I teams) to advise as well as gain broad support and alignment of the business. You should also demonstrate leadership and best practice in inclusion in Asia to regional Managing Partners and business leaders, review HR policies to ensure best practice for Asia aligned with global policies where possible, build and maintain employee engagement in relation to inclusion in Asia, and build the firms external profile for multicultural inclusion globally.
The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable and switched-on with strong culture change and ability to engage and influence stakeholders. You must also be culturally sensitive and be able to work with a diverse group of people.
In addition to this we are also looking for:
• Tertiary qualification, solid HR and D&I experience with professional firm experience a strong plus
• Strong communication skills in verbal and written English, Asian languages a plus
• Proactive, positive, engaging, team-player, organized, constructive, simplifies complexity, acts decisively, leads and influences change, goal-oriented and able to meet deadlines, commercial and able to work closely and develop relationships with key stakeholders
