Job Description

Our client is looking to hire an Early Careers Development Manager on a 6 months FTC with a view to be extended. This role will report into the Global Head of Early Careers.

  • London, Surrey and Dublin based 

The purpose of this role is to contribute to the ongoing development of the Early Career Global Programmes; foster connections, nurture the development, and amplify the voice of the EC Global Community. 

A person in this role would be managing the graduate and apprentice cohort globally. Our client is looking for someone creative, enthusiastic who can pick up the social, community management side of this. Thinking of engaging and relevant content, stories, market info, organising social events (virtually) to bring the cohort together. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong pastoral skill set.

They need someone who has the impetus to get on and make decisions and not need handholding. Someone with buckets of self-motivation to work in a very busy team with lots of demands!

The successful candidate will be accountable for managing the online communities, supporting the delivery of employee development curriculum and value-add global projects in line with broader organisations strategy and goals.

Key Responsibilities:
Early Careers Community Management: Be the ‘glue’ of the EC community - keeping conversations, active, useful and compliant!

  • Identify opportunities to build engagement across all Global Early Careers programmes.
  • Collaborate with global business stakeholders to create and manage content across our internal and external social media channels. Includes; case studies, blogs, interviews, and events.
  • Form and manage the EC Council (members: apprentices & graduates). Streams to include: Social, CSR, Business Engagement & Education
  • Develop community KPI’s to provide feedback, insight and recommendations to the Global Head of Early Careers/ Global Programme manager.
  • Partner with our Internal Employee Communications team to promote EC success stories across the company. 
  • Learning & development curriculum support. Includes: liaising with internal teams and external vendors to coordinate virtual classroom sessions, monitor sign-up via our LMS, communicate with managers and participants in advance, ensure participant evaluation forms are completed on time, collate post-session feedback data and commentary.
  • Develop the EC Well-Being strategy in line with the wider company Employee Experience team. Pillars include mental, physical and financial health.

A person in this role doesn't need to have previous graduate recruitment experience. We are looking to speak with individuals coming from different backgrounds (marketing, employee branding, events management) who have experience of managing internal events to build engagement and who have lots of ideas! Additinoally we are looking for:
