Job Description

This is an exciting new opportunity to work for a leading global investment management firm to design, develop and manage strategic talent and skills transformation, enabling the strategic execution of evolving skills requirements on an ongoing basis. 


The role will shape and execute a talent and skills transformation roadmap in strong collaboration with functions, central teams, and external partnerships. The role will shape solution development and execution through a business centric lens and aim to build strong HR/Talent foundations to underpin future focused employee advancements relating to the entire talent lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and articulation of talent strategy and future-proofing capabilities and initiatives required to improve the holistic maturity of employee engagement, closely aligned to the refreshed employee value proposition 

  • Engage with senior HR and business stakeholders regarding talent and skills approach and transformation 

  • Establish and foster relationships with external partners to help drive and evolve the talent/skills approach 

  • Develop and deliver skills for the future framework and roadmap to support capability requirements over time. 

  • Advise and shape capability transformation, working with senior stakeholders and influencers in the business 

  • Develop and partner to develop solutions around various talent lifecycle stages related to the talent approach and underpinned by data-centric decisions regarding employees 

  • Set clear KPIs, metrics and measure success; Able to articulate business value and ROI


Experience and Qualifications Required:

  • Proven track record in HR talent and transformation

  • Proven ability to translate business problems into strategically aligned solutions 

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and provide structured, holistic solutions 

  • Business acumen –able to understand business models, plans and commercials; speak “business language” and demonstrate value 

  • Solid understanding of talent lifecycle, skills development and experience in driving organisational projects around upskilling, reskilling and ability to advise the business on those

  • Experience in designing and building talent and skills related frameworks in partnership with the business stakeholders Relevant experience in analysing industry and market trends and translate into talent and skills requirements 

  • Growth mindset 

  • Partnering skills – able to work with external partners in a collaborative way Influence and presentation skills 

  • Structured, articulate and outcome focused 

  • Experience in skills evaluation – ideally in a more technical environment 

  • Experience working with competency frameworks and managing workforce planning
