Global Benefits Operations Manager – New York City
Our client is a global professional services giant and they are seeking a knowledgeable Global Benefits Operations Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of all health and welfare programs.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the compliance and timely delivery of benefit administration services to key stakeholders of the organization. Not only will you act as the subject matter expert for all aspects around Benefits Operations, you will also manage the performance and development of staff in the functions of hiring, training, evaluation, termination, compensation recommendation, and more. You will also be trusted to effectively update existing benefits processes and act as a change agent for future improvements, setting clear goals and making recommendations to senior management.
The ideal candidate must have 2 years of supervisory experience and an extensive working with benefits planning, design and strategy. This will include working knowledge in health & welfare and voluntary benefit plans, federal, state and local employment laws including: OSHA, ADA, ERISA, COBRA, and FMLA and other necessary regulatory requirements. You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, as well as have extremely strong communication skills, analytical/numerical skills and attention to detail.
In addition you must have:
- Minimum 6-8 years of Benefits Administration
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience
- Knowledge of multi state regulations and global regulations
- Strong stakeholder management and experience resolving benefit issues
- A Bachelor’s degree
