Reporting to the VP of HR, you will be responsible for the maintenance, administration and compliance for all benefit plans in the US and globally. This includes overseeing accurate administration of benefits daily, working with global insurance and procurement teams, driving wellness initiatives locally, regulatory compliance, annual reporting (IRS form 5500 and 401K plans), key projects as required and coaching/advising/supporting the offshore Shared Service function as an SME in Benefits.
The ideal candidate has an extensive working with benefits planning, design and strategy. This will include working knowledge in health & welfare and voluntary benefit plans, detailed understanding in: ERISA, PPACA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA and other necessary regulatory requirements; experience in IRS filings. You must be comfortable working in both a fast paced and Matrix style environment. This role requires extremely strong communication skills, analytical/numerical skills and attention to detail.
In addition you must have:
- At least 10 years in managing and administering benefits and 401k plans
- Knowledge of multi state regulations and global regulations
- Strong stakeholder management and experience resolving benefit issues
- A Bachelor’s degree
