Job Description

Role Purpose: 

Our client is looking for a Global Learning & Development Manager to design and drive an outstanding global learning & development strategy and to ensure that their current training initiatives are successfully delivered. You will partner with business leaders to develop strategic plans to grow people, and manage these projects from inception to completion. In particular as GLDM you will transform company's framework and approach to L&D, designing and managing the journey from a continuous learning to a digital learning towards an intelligent, personalized, machine driven learning. 

 

Responsibilities:

•    Ensure the consistent development and delivery of the Group global learning & development strategy across all regions, in line with business needs, growth and cultural differences, working with a lean methodology and a profound use of data and KPIs 

•    Design and launch a social/mobile academy, based on digital learning and clear career paths 

•    Deliver current key projects in the areas of: apprenticeship levy, coaching capabilities, global onboarding, graduate programmes and collaborations with universities

•    Lead, coach and grow a global team of 8+ learning partners and advisors

•    Manage the global L&D budget efficiently, always ensuring what we spend has the highest impact. You will track and measure our ROI across all regions

•    Innovate learning and development best practices, learning from all the available sources and piloting change as needed. You effectively build and utilise your networks externally to seek and develop new emerging trends within L&D, including all of our locations and cultures

 

Essential Skills & Requirements:

•    Bachelor Degree with 10+ years’ relevant experience in learning & development roles

•    Proactive innovator with a strong and positive can do attitude, naturally curious to continuously explore the most recent L&D trends

•    Leader able to drive change involving and keeping engaged different stakeholders 

•    Project manager able to run multiple projects at the same time, with a lean approach

•    Well-spoken communicator, with possibly international experience. Comfortable working with staff at a range of levels, particularly at leadership level

•    A natural presenter who is comfortable and experienced at facilitating workshops and meetings

•    Independent thinker able to graciously challenge others

•    Strong analytical and decision making skills
