Our client is seeks an experienced global payroll professional to support the payroll processes of its international offices and service the firm’s needs for employees working internationally. The role offers the opportunity to be part of an inclusive and engaging working environment.



You’ll be part of their Payroll team and will work on a variety of payroll operations projects, including the processing of multiple payrolls in a variety of international locations, tax reporting, withholding and compliance, global mobility, systems implementation, and streamlining their international payroll operations by leveraging Workday, the company’s new HRIS. You’ll also be responsible for liaising with external payroll vendors to ensure the accuracy of international payroll and tracking and executing specific payroll requirements for international assignees. You’ll liaise with external tax advisors to prepare and reconcile payroll compensation accumulators in order to ensure accurate inputs to tax equalization calculations and tax reporting, and you’ll summarize international mobility payroll information in support of the company’s Management Company Accounting team. The role involves substantial interaction with other internal departments including Human Capital, Tax Compliance, and software development teams.



  • A bachelor’s degree is required, along with prior payroll-related global mobility work experience. Candidates should have knowledge of and experience with payroll processing and related international tax and compliance requirements and statutes, especially in Europe and Asia (e.g., the UK, Luxembourg, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Singapore).

  • Experience navigating tax and payroll-related global mobility issues—and developing creative solutions—is essential.

  • A facility with numbers, the ability to work both collaboratively and independently, and a high level of organization and detail orientation are all prerequisites.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, an analytical approach to problem solving, and a rigorous work ethic are highly desired.
