Our client is the world’s largest independent energy and commodities trading company.

The team is comprised of 120 talented software engineers, UI designers, data scientists and project managers, across the 3 main Technology hubs Geneva-London- Houston, developing a suite of proprietary Trading Applications. 

 

The Role:

Reporting to the Chief of Staff (London) and the Lead of the Applications Group (Geneva), there will be some travel to both offices. 

As Global Technology Talent manager, you will: 

  • Help coordinate their Technology recruiting efforts globally, working closely with the Tech team leads and local HR departments, coordinating engagement with external partners, pipeline performance tracking, internal referral programs etc. 

  • Promote Technology talents internally, through the development of a training catalogue, mentoring programs, knowledge sharing initiatives, coding events / hackathons, townhalls, team mobility, professional development and coaching etc. 

  • Develop employer brand in the Technology space through top universities engagements, on-site company presentations, development of content on website, intranet, blog and social media, participation in Tech conferences, partnerships with Tech organizations.

 

What you need to bring 

  • Experience leading talent management initiatives, including branding, recruiting, onboarding, training and professional development at a fast- paced, world-class organisation 

  • University degree from a leading institution 

  • Entrepreneurial drive, ability to work independently as well as in a team 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to convey complex concepts in simple terms 

  • Full proficiency communicating in English in a business context (verbally & in writing) 

 

Additional qualifications that can help you stand out 

  • Previous experience working with Technology talent 

  • Previous experience developing the Technology employer brand of a non-digital company 

  • Previous experience in the commodities and/or trading industry 

  • French language skills a plus (but not required)
