Job Description

Our client is looking to hire a UK Graduate Recruitment Manager in light of recent expansion. They are a mid-sized global law firm with an increasingly international alignment. The role will have full autonomy to develop and execute the UK Graduate Recruitment strategy and programme. This person will play an integral part in helping to drive greater consistency in the way the firm attracts, recruits and retains graduates.  The UK Graduate Recruitment Manager will have responsibility for end to end graduate recruitment across the UK and will be integral in delivering transformational change within the field of graduate recruitment at the firm, creating a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring the firm is seen as an employer of choice on campus.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Work closely with the Head of Graduate Recruitment on developing the programme and budget for the UK
  • Work with key business stakeholders and local HR business partners to develop an understanding of future talent needs of the UK business
  • Develop a UK campus strategy including initiatives to promote the firm on campus
  • Set up and run graduate recruitment events and assessment centres
  • Support the design and implementation of assessment tools
  • Develop, execute and manage trainee programmes
  • Manage the qualification process for graduate trainees
  • Produce and analyse retention data for UK graduate recruitment
  • Provide input to the broader strategic talent agenda
  • Manage a team of 4 direct reports


Experience & Qualifications:


  • Experience of running a highly effective graduate recruitment campaign or training programme
  • Knowledge of relevant UK employment law as it pertains to recruitment
  • Flexibility to work an environment with different operating models in different locations
  • Experience of using social media and digital media tools for recruitment
  • Experience of managing a team
