Our client is a mobile lottery app that offers players a secure way to order official state lottery tickets. They are seeking a Head of Human Resources to develop and execute human resources strategies in New York or LA.

The Head of Human Resources is responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization, specifically in the areas of succession planning, talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, training and development, and compensation. This position will provide strategic leadership by articulating HR needs and plans to the executive management team, shareholders and the board of directors.
In addition, we are also looking for:
10-15 years of HR experience, with at least five years of senior management HR experience
Masters degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration or similar field
SPHR or SHRM-SCP credentials preferred
Experience with multi state organizations
Thorough knowledge of federal and state employment laws, specifically NY and CA
Knowledge of and experience with varied human resource information systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships
