This organisation is entering a new stage of their evolution as they grow their global footprint with firm entry into 5 markets across Europe and Asia. With headcount c. 600 and plans for that to surpass 1000 by the end of 2022, they are looking to add a Head of OD to their HR team with over-arching responsibility for organisational design, development and continuous learning.
Reporting to the Group CHRO, we are looking for a strong OD practitioner from a consulting or psychology background. The rationale behind this is simple; learning and growth does not stem from classroom based teachings but from a change in mindset as we observe and learn from things we do or see others do. We need someone who can question and challenge not just how things are done but why things are done and how do we create change in internal behaviours and learning pathways from pre-learned behaviour. You will thrive on ambiguity and be confident in creating and shaping both the role and the overall function.
You may have a psychology aligned degree and then moved into people consulting or you may have gained consulting experience focused on utilising assessment based tools. This experience will, ideally, have transitioned into an industry environment where you have looked at both organisation development and design and how these combine to create an environment in which people thrive and flourish.
