Job Description

Based in Hong Kong our client is looking for an HR Administrator covering Compliance issues to join their team under the shared services function.

•    Global law firm
•    Central location

Reporting to the HR Administration Team Leader, you would support all HR functions through administration services and streamlining HR processes and making them more efficient. The key focuses would be on on-boarding and off-boarding, contractual agreements and immigration work. You would ensure the resolution of HR queries and requests are efficiently and effectively resolved through administering HR processes for all employee and partner lifecycle activities such as new starters, leavers, transfers and contractual changes, manage and administer daily HR compliance activities including immigration and regulatory law society matters, maintain the HR database, provide relevant documentation and advising on compliance related queries, and support the HR process during external and internal audits. You would work closely with the HR business leaders and Risk Manager, and liaise closely with the Law Society and Immigration. There would be new projects as they bring in new processes and the introduction of new countries, and you could also get involved in other HR administration work.

To be successful in this role, you must have solid HR experience in a relevant industry. Fluent English is a must while Cantonese and Mandarin would be a solid advantage.

In addition to this we are also looking for:
•    Minimum 1-2 years of HR experience in an HR Administration role
•    Strong communication skills in English and Chinese 
•    Proactive, detail-oriented, law society and visa immigration work, good understanding of HR systems and Microsoft Office (Excel and Word), good time management, solid interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work well with the team in an independent role and have strong relationships with key stakeholders.
