Job Description

A start up fintech firm who has managed to enjoy a period of success in the face of the current Covid crisis is looking for an engaging and proactive HR professional to join them as an HR Advisor.

Reporting to the Head of HR you will have exposure to the full gamut of HR activities from both a strategic and operation perspective including employee engagement, performance management, recruitment, compensation and benefits and learning and development as well onboarding and off-boarding.  In particular this position has a larger talent flavour so you will be heavily involved in learning and talent management activities. As the total population of this company is relatively small, you will regularly be facing off to the business heads and will be advising them on all aspects of HR.  Also, given the nature of start-ups you never know quite what is around the corner, so one moment you will advising the business leaders, the next you will need to roll up your sleeves and checking payroll.  Where necessary you will also have to create and implement HR policies where there may not be any existing processes.   


You will be university educated with a degree in human resources or other business related subject possessing exceptional client relationship management skills and a proven capability to advise and influence senior stakeholders. You should have a sound working knowledge of Singapore HR laws and requirements, but due to the continued growth of the company, exposure to HR legislation in other South East Asia countries is a plus.  You will possess a positive, “can-do” mind set and have strong multitasking and prioritisation skills.  

Additionally, you will have the following – 
• Minimum of eight years’ human resources experience
• Outstanding communication skills including strong fluency in both written and spoken English
• Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fluid working environments
• Singaporeans only
