My client is an international renowned and leading retail company with their headquarter in Europe. As they are entering a new stage for the business, they are now looking to bring in an independent, resourceful and mature HR practitioner for their Singapore office to partake in this new journey.
Dynamic and diverse working environment
This HR Business Partner will be reporting to the Country HR Manager based in Singapore and will be partnering closely with the retail business. You will be working closely with the senior leadership team and line managers in the planning of HR strategy and development plans for the population of employees that you oversee. This role will involve both strategic and some operational duties including manpower planning, headcount budgeting, compensation, employee relations, L&D, etc. You have to work closely with managers in the identification of competency gaps and development needs and come out with plans/programmes for them.
To succeed in this role, you must have excellent theoretical and practical knowledge of the entire HR process and have the willingness to be hands-on as and when required. This person must enjoy and excel in a fast-paced environment and have the aptitude to engage and build relationship with all levels of employees across the business. Excellent communication skills as well as good track record of helping business achieve their goals is necessary. In addition, we are looking for the following: -
At least 8 years of HR experience with at least 3 years in a HRBP capacity
Strong communication and presentation skills with a global mindset and cultural dexterity
Ability to manage sensitive issues professionally and exercise mature judgement in decision making
