Job Description

This newly created role is ideal for an experienced Business Partner with a well-rounded HR skillset. This individual will lead the coverage and full life-cycle of HR initiatives for an essential part of this privately-held global industrial company's growing and dynamic family office, the employees directly supporting the families, and their households. 

 

This role will report directly to the VP of HR for the company, while also working closely and strategically with the family office leadership team, with dotted line reporting to the Director of Family Office Services. As such, they will be the connector between HR and the family office on all employee-related matters, including employee relations, performance management, payroll and benefits, and management of employee hiring and terminations. This lead Business Partner must have excellent communications skills and gravitas to interact with a wide range of stakeholders, from C-level executives to employees working in the homes. The ideal candidate will have great judgment, a high degree of discretion and a broad HR experience set.

 

In Addition You Must Have:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 10 years of relevant HR experience
  • Exercises strong judgment and discretion while working with highly sensitive, confidential material and information
  • Strong computer skills: G Suite preferred
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Effectively balances competing priorities with tact and enthusiasm
  • Brings a no-job-is-too-big/small attitude
  • Possesses excellent communication skills with an ability to respond in a timely manner with professionalism in verbal and written communications with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent attention to detail
