Exciting opportunity to join a well-established consumer services company based in Malaysia. Due to business needs, they are looking for an independent, resourceful, and mature HR practitioner to join their Malaysia office.

Reporting directly to the Head of HR sitting in Singapore, the potential candidate will work together with the Head of HR in managing the HR function for Malaysia. You will also be working with senior leadership team, across the world, in the planning of HR strategy for the country. This role involves overseeing both strategic and operational duties including manpower planning, headcount budgeting, compensation and benefits, performance management, learning and development, and acting as a consultant to your business leader. You should also be familiar with Malaysia’s labour law and legislation in order to be able to provide advice for business planning.
You must have excellent understanding of HR operations and willingness to be hands-on, when required. This person must enjoy and excel in a fast paced environment, and possess the aptitude to engage and build relationship senior leaders across the business. Good communication skills as well as good track record of helping business achieve their goals is a must.
In addition, we are looking for the following: -
• At least six years of HR experience with at least three years in a business partnering capacity
• Strong communication and presentation skills with a global mindset and cultural dexterity
• Ability to manage sensitive issues professionally and exercise mature judgement in decision making
