Job Description

Our client is one of the leading players in Industrial sector. Due to business expansion, they are looking to hire an HR Generalist to provide professional support to the business, including recruitment, C&B, performance management and employee development. Role is based in CBD area.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment: Work with the hiring managers to understand the requirements of the roles being recruited, managing of online job positing in various portals and our website, screening of CVs, communication with candidates, preparing and supporting the hiring process and on-boarding.

  • Employee Relations: Handle employee relations such as providing guidance on policies and their application; handle first-line disciplinary, capability and grievance hearings.

  • Performance Management: Assist during the process and support managers, ensure proper documentation of reviews, record outcomes, file appraisal documents, ensure follow up of objectives and training goals.

  • General Support: Ensure complete, up-to-date, accurate and accessible records are kept for all employees.Create and maintain personnel files to ensure legal compliance.

  • Benefits: Responsible for the administration of all employee insurances for the Singapore office (including acting as the main point of contact for employee enquiries as well as the insurance/broker, reviewing of claims stats, managing of staff entries/exits, monitoring the renewal process)..

  • Training: Proposing of suitable training courses, registration, updating of training records.

  • Payroll: Liaising with Payroll provider for one of the related entities on monthly payroll, tax etc. Point of contact for any queries on benefits, payroll and other welfare matters.

  • Other: Provide the necessary confidential administrative support for all human resources function.



  • Tertiary qualifications in HR or related discipline.

  • Professional HR certification preferred.

  • Good knowledge of HR generalist functions, best practices and employment laws in Singapore.

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience HR management in a high growth, changing environment.

  • Excellent writing and grammar skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite).
