Job Description

Our client is rapidly growing global investement management firm looking to hire an HR Manager to support the Group Head of HR and HR team in London by providing full HR support and assisting with the day-to-day HR operations and employment lifecycle. A person in this role will additionally support affiliate businesses in the group including Founder investment projects in crypto and FinTech which are currently undergoing significant expansion.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide full senior generalist support and employee relations

  • Establish, maintain and co-ordinate relationships with search firms and head hunters, negotiating terms on a regular basis.

  • Coordinate offers and sign-off with hiring managers and negotiate total compensation packages with potential new recruits and or via search firms.

  • Manage recruitment and conduct interviews

  • Assist Global Head of HR with compensation benchmarking and review effectiveness of survey information received.

  • Assist with the roll out of the annual appraisal process and deal with any staff performance issues.

  • Manage Employee Relations cases as required

  • Assist with the review and implementation of any changes to policies and procedures ensuring that the staff handbooks are kept up to date and are in line with the relevant employment legislation

  • Maintain and update central HR administrative processes, policies & procedures

  • Manage Training and Development 

  • Monitor completion of continuing professional development (CPD) and pro-actively identify relevant courses

  • Assist in co-ordination of annual performance review and appraisal process, tracking meeting dates and relevant documentation, monitoring completion

  • Assist in administration of employee benefits (life assurance, health insurance, pension scheme), ensuring employees receive the appropriate documentation on a timely basis

  • Assist with monthly payroll preparation for various entities

Graduate Programmes

  • Assist with planning, coordination & delivery of graduate development programme and annual summer internship programme – working with external training providers to build suitable curriculum.


  • Implementation of new HRIS system

  • Assist with London office move planning/logistics in Q4 2021

  • Assist with build out of Wellbeing & Culture programme

The successful candidate must have proven financial services experience; buy side experience will be highly preferable. In addition we are looking for:

  • High focus on attention to detail

  • Well organised, able to manage conflicting workloads

  • Very adaptable and happy to get stuck in, a self-starter

  • Strong knowledge of using HRIS systems

  • Excellent communicator with strong stakeholder managment skills

  • Ability to analyse, interpret and summarise business material, professional documentation, government regulations, etc.

  • Other languages including Italian or French will be a strong asset
