HR Manager – Financial Services - New York City
Our client is a global wealth management firm experiencing a period of growth through the expansion of their business into the US market. Consequently, they are seeking an HR Manager to provide end-to-end HR support in their New York City office.

Reporting to the Head of HR, you will play a critical role leading the HR function in New York office. Your role is as a true generalist, working across recruitment, talent management, performance management, training and development, payroll and benefits, and ad hoc projects. As mentioned, the role will have a primary emphasis in the US, but will have various global relationships and requires a candidate who possesses a big picture, global mindset.
We are looking for someone with a strong business partnering background within a global HR function. You must have strong knowledge of US employment regulations and experience working with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. You will work well independently but also have the ability to establish strong relationships within the business and global HR team. It is crucial that you have a positive attitude and are flexible to work with HR colleagues in different time zones.
In addition, we are also looking for:
- 7 - 10 years of HR generalist experience, financial services preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills required
- Proactive, problem-solving mentality, ability to challenge appropriately
- Strong stakeholder management experience
