Our client is a well-established retail business with regional presence. They are currently inviting a seasoned and capable HR Generalist to join their business.

• HR Generalist capacity
Reporting to the Head of Human Resources based out of Hong Kong, you will be an independent HR Manager held responsible for all HR related activities across the region (HK, Taiwan, Japan and South East Asia). You will act as the internal HR Advisor to business leaders on appropriate strategies aligned with business needs; liaise with payroll vendors on monthly basis on tax and payroll issues; manage any C&B policies inclusive of staff benefits, pension schemes, insurance policies and renewal etc. On top of which, you will also oversee the business manpower planning, on off boarding and any expatriates issues. Ad hoc projects will be assigned.
The ideal candidate will be degree educated with a minimum of 10 years HR Generalist experience with start ups or SMEs. Prior experience managing an APAC portfolio as an individual contributor will help excel in this role. Fluency in Cantonese, English and Mandarin will be required for this position.
