Headquartered in Asia, our client is a new and exciting IT company that is looking to hire its first UK HR partner.

Being the first HR role in the UK you will be primarily responsible for setting up HR in the UK. This is a full 360 HR role and will require you to be confident and capable with regards to performance management, reward, recruitment and L&D. There is a direct reporting line to Asia, which adds a layer of complexity that some won’t be used to, so we need a confident and capable person that isn’t afraid to make decisions and who will be able to work closely with the business while also setting up HR in a way that global believe in.
The ideal person should have worked for a small to mid-sized organisation and be equally comfortable in a stand-alone position as well as running a small team. We do see this role expanding over time but this is fully dependent on the success of the business in the UK. We are sector agnostic with regards to the background of the individual and what we are more closely looking for is that drive and ability to be part of something new and exciting. In addition to the above we are also looking for:
- A knowledge of working for a global company
- A cultural knowledge or understanding of Asia
