A Global Financial Services firm is looking to hire a strategic, HR professional to focus on improving HR Operations with a focus on managing Risk, Compliance and Governance based at their NYC office.

As a newly created position, reporting into the head of HR of the region, this person will be responsible for assessing, streamlining and governing HR Operation processes locally. You will work with both the local and broader HR team to standardize HR processes and policies. You will govern the current policies, processes and infrastructure in order to allow the HR operations/service delivery to run compliantly and effectively. You will serve as an HR project lead, working closely with COO and CRO teams.
The ideal candidate has 5 to 7 years of HR Operations, HR Service Delivery experience. As this role reports into the Head of HR, you must be a confident, strategic thinker who can present creative ideas that are grounded in data to senior stakeholders. This person needs to have a “backbone” and able to push back when necessary as client groups will challenge you.
In addition, this person should have:

• Strong background HR Operations and HR Projects – Standardization of policy and process
• Preferred experience in a global finance organization
• Ability to work through ambiguity
