Job Description

The Job:

We are hiring a Singapore-based HR Specialist to join the ASEAN HR Team of this global-reach Professional Services firm.  Be a key contributor in supporting employees and people managers across multiple HR sectors including hiring and onboarding, employee engagement, global mobility, rewards and organization change management. This role is most suitable for an individual who is comfortable working at a fast paced environment, along with the ability to manage multiple deadlines whilst maintaining a can-do attitude / service-oriented delivery of HR Best Practice.  Huge scope and potential.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Partner closely with the HR Shared Services team to address day to day queries and request from employee and managers
  • Scope will include, but not limited to: application of policies, rewards and compensation, system navigation (Workday), payroll, leave and benefits administration, employment pass 
  • Ensure the quality of HR service delivery through meticulous review of compensation proposals for potential candidates, Workday workflow and related employment documentations to ensure compliance with company policy/regulations and local laws 
  • Apply experience and knowledge to generate creative solutions to solve ambiguous issues / put them into action 
  • Support the overall People Strategy aligned to the Business Strategy through developing and delivering targeted people related solutions, so as to ensure the success of the HR agenda and quantify business benefits
  • Provide data analytics and insights when needed to support stakeholders’ requests, management meetings and key decision making people related decisions
  • Partner and support the business/function leaders to drive the annual performance management, talent management and compensation planning process. 
  • Collaborate with other HR functional teams to deliver key HR initiatives for the business
  • Assist with employee communication on key annual processes and people initiatives and supports organizational change management process as and when required
  • Develop and deliver the activities to support our talent acquisition strategy, which will include Graduates Hiring and Alumni Network
  • Supports our Diversity and Inclusion agenda through active participation in our Business Resources Groups and supporting their key annual initiatives
  • Be a Brand Ambassador through educating and leading others to understand why the firm is the employer of choice

 

Skills/Experience:

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business or related studies
  • Minimum 5 years working within a fast paced, service oriented, professional team environment with responsibilities directly related to the above is required
  • Good knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines to include employee hiring and onboarding, employee engagement, performance-talent-career management, global mobility, rewards and organization change management
  • Knowledge in employment legislation across ASEAN countries would be an advantage
  • Problem solver with passion for data integrity and continuous learning and improvement
  • Ability to use people analytics and business acumen to exercise good judgment and decision-making, especially in situations that lack clear solutions
  • Passionate about leading HR practices, researches and implements innovative ideas / solutions
  • Ability to communicate effectively and cultivate relationships at multiple levels and across key stakeholder groups
  • Team player and collaborates effectively on regional and global issues and processes
  • Ability to maintain professional demeanor under pressure, and operate with a keen sense of urgency and commitment to quality
  • Knowledge of HR Systems (Workday would be a strong asset)
