Job Description

KL based HRBP / People Function is one of the most significant Regional functions for the fast development of this Global Professional Services business.  Taking on the role of full range HR support for the Malaysia business, including TA, Human Resource Retention and Development, Succession Planning, Performance Management and Organization Design, you will work closely with the Malaysia Business Leaders and diverse Client groups as Business Partner, contributing to the implementation of the business strategy.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate expert knowledge in Human Resource and Labour Relations to support overall business strategies in the areas of training, recruiting, compensation management, performance management organizational planning, headcount management, and labour relations and retention

  • Manage end-to-end payroll and statutory filing requirements

  • Monitor and evaluate HR effectiveness relative to driving business results and established Goals; prepare management reports; analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with Leaders to develop solutions and programs

  • Ability to develop, recommend, and implement personnel policies and procedures to effect continuous improvement / partner across HR function to ensure premier service delivery

  • Partner with the business in implementing effective people initiatives & interventions to increase productivity, drive employee engagement and improve retention

  • Lead Performance Management processes including effective succession planning, and execution of Performance Improvement Plans

  • Assist international employees with expatriate assignments, movements and related HR matters


Key Requirements:                            

  • Master or equivalent degree with 10+ years related HR experience in MNC. SSC/BPO/Consulting industry preferred

  • Superb communication skills (preferred to be fluent in English, Bahasa & Mandarin) – verbal, written, presentation, conflict management

  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including employee relations, payroll, diversity, performance management, employment laws etc

  • Strong business acumen stabilized with operational orientation

  • Advanced Microsoft Office

  • Able to respond quickly to changing requests; sound sense of urgency

  • Ambitious with validated decision-making skills

  • Experience resolving complex employee relation issues

  • Experience working in complex Matrix Organization Structure and with Virtual teams
