Located in New York City, our client is a fast growing E-commerce (Fashion/Tech) business, looking for an HR Business Partner (Talent & People Director) with strong organization development and coaching skills to join their team.

In this challenging role, you will use your HR expertise to proactively partner with business stakeholders to provide strategic support and advice to enhance the capability of the business. As this region is still in a high growth phase, as the People and Talent Director, you will look to implement and then conduct the core HR cycles of comp reviews, talent and performance reviews, talent acquisition, succession planning, employee engagement, etc. You will have in-depth understanding of US labor laws (California + New York) and be looking to drive a performance /learning based culture.
We are ideally looking for someone with a strong, business partnering background who has worked in reputable technology, online firms. Given the maturity of the business, we are also looking for someone that has both start-up and corporate experience. We are also looking for an individual with a high level of business acumen who is able to see potential issues before they arise and find alternative long term solutions. In addition, we are also looking for:
- A minimum of 8 to 10 years relevant Human Resources experience
- Exceptional relationship management and interpersonal skills to build cross functional and global relationships
- Able to work in a fast pace, ambiguous environment
- Leadership experience is a must
