Job Description

 Our client is a global law firm consistently ranked among the top firms in the world, currently seeking a Human Resources Coordinator, located in their New York office. The HR Coordinator will support the department and the office by ensuring that the administrative responsibilities of the department are met in a timely manner.

The coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the office meets regular timekeeping deadlines for payroll, completes all necessary steps of employee orientation and integration, and will also aid attorneys, paralegals and staff by using available resources to provide answers to their human resources.  

 

The successful candidate should have a positive, high-energy attitude with organizational and communication skills. This person should also have comprehensive knowledge of Human Resources functions and well-developed interpersonal skills. 

  

You Will Also Have:    

  • HRIS experience, preferably PeopleSoft and Kronos Timekeeper is a plus.   

  • The ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm 

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. 

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.   

  • Focus in a related field is preferred.   

  • A minimum of two (2) years of HR experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.   

  • A minimum of two (2) years of Human Resources experience required.
