Our client is looking for a new recruitment leader to come in and manage some of their key front office hiring. This is a replacement role for someone that is moving into a new position within the firm and we therefore need someone that has previous financial services expertise. The role manages a small team and will work direct with key business leaders in order to not only fill roles but start to look more strategically at key hiring requirements. This is regarded as a hands on role where you will have a “book” of roles to fill, although it is worth adding that all of these roles are senior in level with the more junior level roles being handled by your team. You will also look at other key recruitment initiatives such as your client EVP, market mapping etc. but this is a role focused on hiring the best talent and this will be what you are judged on.
Because of the key nature of the role we are open to looking at people from all over the world, however it is worth stating that you will most likely have worked within the banking sector, possess front office recruitment experience (ideally IBD) and be comfortable working within a regional role for a global entity. Experience of Asia would be a nice to have, however an appreciation of the challenges to hiring and working there will do providing you have the core front office recruitment experience we need. On top of this we are also looking for:
- A degree educated background.
- Financial Services experience.
- Management capabilities.
