Job Description

One of the world’s leading financial services providers is looking for a confident and proactive background screening expert to manage a global team across three international locations.

You will be responsible for running the international pre-employment screening program across multiple countries, managing a large team.   You will apply your knowledge of recruitment, background and medical screening processes to ensure successful implementation of best practice across the business operations of the company.   As well as managing the vendors you will be responsible for invoicing and payments, as well as troubleshooting where you will be involved in various levels escalations where appropriate. You will champion continuous process improvement and will partner with regional HR and recruitment teams to ensure the highest quality service is being provided.  You will also be involved in various change management initiatives and global projects where necessary.

You will university educated with a degree inhuman resources or other business related subject.  Additionally, you will be an experienced leader and will have strong functional expertise in background checking and pre-employment screening vendors and will possess a detailed understanding of applicant tracking systems.  Strong program management skills will be key to success in this position, including planning, execution and implementation as well as having outstanding communication skills with the ability to face off to senior leaders.  In addition to advanced quantitative and qualitative analytical skills we are also looking for:

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in recruitment or human resources with at least five years specialising in background checking
  • Minimum five years’ experience in a management role, preferably managing staff across multiple locations
  • Experience working in a rapidly changing, highly complex matrixed environment
  • Must be able to work mid shift (working hours starting from mid-day)
