Job Description

This is a new role for a well known trading company who are looking to re-affirm their HR principals with a more formal learning and recruitment platform.

  • London based
  • Global role spanning Europe, Asia and the US
  • Generalist development over time.

Working with and reporting direct to the Chief of Staff you will be responsible for designing and developing a learning platform for all new associates. There are different business units but across all of the platforms remains a core philosophy and way of working that links all of them together. As a result our client is looking for someone who has worked on putting together a programme for new joiners. The people that join usually have between 2-5 years experience, so while not raw graduates, they are still relatively new to the working world. Alongside this the individual will also take on responsibility for talent attraction, looking at hiring sources, ways of saving both money and time in order to attract people through the brand.

We are looking for an all-round HR practitioner who has a passion for development but also sees and understands the link to recruitment. Candidates with experience in the graduate recruitment space are of interest, as are learning professionals that understand, and want to be part of the recruitment process for the organisation. Our client is a small-mid sized organisation and they are need someone that can operate at both a c-suite level and the revert to getting the day to day operational work done. Over time we see this person developing into a more rounded generalist, taking on more HR responsibility and working with the board to ensure that the company offers a best in class learning solution. In addition to this we are also looking for:

  • Well rounded examples of developing a learning framework.
  • Proven ability to work on your own and be self-motivated.
  • Financial services experience.
