Job Description

Our client is a top law firm looking to hire a Learning Management System Manager.

 The LMS Manager will be critical in developing e-learning and online learning content for all people across the global firm. The successful applicant will be passionate about learning technologies and experienced in working as part of a progressive L&D team. Being commercially minded will be key to ensure any development is beneficial, attractive and cost effective to the end user.

Good experience in developing e-learning, instructional design and Adobe Captivate is highly desirable for this role as well as experience of editing video, audio and graphics.  This is an international role and therefore travel will be required.



  • Overall responsibility for the global learning management system (LMS),  including system, people, security, and course and content management    
  • Design and source professional e-learning content for our LMS
  • Work with other members of the L&D team to adapt current classroom programmes to incorporate e-learning elements
  • Deliver live and recorded WebEx training
  • Present to audiences on the benefits of the LMS, winning the hearts and minds of all staff
  • Work with the IT training team to deploy the LMS globally
  • Update existing e-learning courses to ensure the content remains up to date and meets current guidelines
  • Work with subject matter experts and use instructional design principles to script, create and deploy effective e-learning solutions
  • Work with professional film crews and actors
  • Build close relationships with IT and other teams to ensure the technical side of the LMS is fit for purpose and up to date
  • Mentor & support internal resources in the use of Adobe Captivate and the LMS
  • Establish and implement e-learning related policies and procedures
  • Work with international colleagues to ensure the LMS is culturally aligned and reflects their differing  L&D needs

  • Passion for learning technology
  • Confident and engaging facilitator and presenter
  • Experienced L&D professional
  • Previous knowledge and use of an LMS especially SABA
  • Stakeholder engagement and commercially minded 
  • Able to travel


  • Premiere Pro
  • Adobe Captivate
  • Photoshop
  • Project management
  • Creating and uploading SCORM compliant content
  • HTML/CSS/JavaScript
  • Mobile learning principles or experience (HTML5/responsive web design)
  • Instructional design and e-learning development
