Located in Manhattan, our client is a leading Law Firm, looking for a Temporary Leave of Absence Specialist to join their team.

The successful candidate will have superior organizational and communication skills and approach their work with a positive, high-energy attitude. They will be responsible for the administration and management of leave of absence policies and work flow. They will also provide advice regarding leave of absence matters (including questions related to policy, eligibility and FMLA).
The ideal candidate must have knowledge of terms and conditions of all health and welfare plans, specifically state disability laws and FMLA, as well as a good understanding of compensation and benefits practices. You will need to come from a strong analytics background and possess the organizational skills needed to manage time well, prioritize effectively, and handle multiple deadlines. In addition you must have:
- 3 to 4 years of related leave of absence benefits administration experience
- A Bachelor’s degree
- Knowledge of HR systems (including PeopleSoft and Kronos)
- Good knowledge of MS Office (including Excel and Word)
